Over the last decade, nearly $1 million dollars have been invested in planning for trail development in Beaver County. Below, you can find just some of the plans that have been created to date. As you will observe, trails in Beaver County are considerably more than a far away dream. Stakeholders from various organizations and municipalities have a clearly defined and executable plan well in place. But, an undertaking as significant as a regional trail network cannot be accomplished without support from County leadership.
Studying the accompanying documents reveals that all such plans hinge on saving the Black's Run Bridge from impending destruction. Without immediate and decisive action, many hundreds of thousands of dollars of planning efforts will become obsolete. Residents and friends of the region cannot afford to wait for others to advocate on behalf of these efforts. The time to bring trails to life in Beaver County is upon us.
